The creativeness of a creative woman
We celebrated my Granddaughter Lilly’s birthday today. It was a day full of happy smiles and laughter from her and her friends. Her party theme was “Spring” and instead of having games all the kids painted and decorated little bird houses. It was a hit! they all loved being creative and taking home a little something besides candy and goodies.
Lilly is such a blessing. She is star student, polite, listens well, appreciates even the littlest thing, is creative (one great imagination), and I love it when she tells me it’s “extra hug day” and wraps her arms around my neck for a second hug. Lilly says she wants to be a “scientist” when she grows up. She loves science and will choose that subject over any other when she visits the library. I’m so glad she is not afraid of bugs or getting dirty. Lilly has a natural curiosity about the world around her and understands more than a child of her typical age. As “grown up” as she is about science she is still a little girl that giggles, likes to play dress up, and snuggle while watching a movie. A grandmother can’t ask for a sweeter granddaughter.
